New Inspirational Segments with GEB America

I’m so excited to be able to finally tell you about a new project I am working on with GEB America. I’ve spent the last year or so blogging about peace and my journey of seeking peace through divorce, a tremendous loss of business and one legal battle after another. This has not been an easy road however, I have also had the privilege of watching God take what the enemy intended for evil and use it for good.

I’ve spent the last 6 years on television every single day not just locally but on news stations all over the country. I’ve had the opportunity to share money saving techniques on those those segments and through my website. I’ll admit, through these recent battles I finally came to a place of thinking maybe my time on television was finished. I actually got to a place where that was ok with me. Little did I know, God was not done.

As I blogged about my journey of peace on this website, I received two comments on my facebook page that changed my life. Yep, it’s that dramatic.

The first comment from Lori made me cry like a baby. I remember that day well, only a week from being removed from the business I started, I took the stage to deliver a message that God laid on my heart for single moms just like myself. I can still remember how hot the lights were on that stage, probably the same temperature they always are but that day, I felt like I was melting away. Amazingly enough, there is something beautiful in that.

You can see there were a lot of comments on this post and thanks to Facebook, the comments were all out of order so I actually did not see Amy’s comment until quite a bit later. Then, I nearly fell out of my chair. “What in the world?!!?” I thought.

Before messaging her, I had a thousand things run through my head none the least of which was “I was done with TV.” I really felt done. But, I could not ignore the insane excitement I had on the inside every single time I read and reread her comment. So, I messaged her and then this happened…

I partnered with GEB America to bring you Living Well with Sarah Roe. For right now, these are daily segments that run almost like commercials throughout the day bringing you tips for peace in your home, healthy ideas and frugal living tips. You can also watch them on the GEB America website.

In the segments, I mention an new website called LivingWellwithSarahRoe.com and that site is still under development but I’m excited about it and excited about what God is doing in my life right now. I’ve had many things come against me in the last year but all of those things opened doors for me that would have never opened otherwise.

Now, you are likely asking yourself these questions…What is Living Well with Sarah Roe? Has she mastered the art of living well? Does she live SO well that I would want to live just like her? Who does this chick think she is anyway?

Let me answer those…Living Well with Sarah Roe is about living a life of peace and joy even in the worst of circumstances. It’s about the journey. It’s about making one good choice here and another good choice there that lead to a series of good choices that help you to stay on the path that God has for YOU.

No, I have not mastered the art of living well. No, I am not perfect. In fact, I’m far from perfect. I am hopelessly flawed and I get angry and I get upset and I have days where I’m just worn out and tired like everyone else but I’m still here. I’m still on the road,  sometimes I’m crawling instead of walking but I’m on the road God has for me nonetheless.

That’s real life. I’m not setting out to make a bunch of segments that are full of fluff and fakeness (I don’t actually think that’s a word but you get the point). I’m a real person with real issues and I’m not perfect nor will I ever claim to be but I do cling to the promises of God and I pray these segments bring you hope and encourage you on your journey right where you are.
