Don't worry about tomorrow...

Day 29: A Whole New Outlook

Don't worry about tomorrow...

What have I learned throughout these 30 Days to Peace?

I’ve learned that peace is a way of thinking, it’s not necessarily a feeling although it can be but, it’s more of a philosophy and a way of life.

I have learned it is possible to still have peace even though you are completely surrounded by a storm. The peace of God transcends all things really, even the most destructive of circumstances. Therefore, it is possible to maintain the peace of God as long as your head is on straight and your heart is in the right place.

(For those of you asking how that is possible, visit Day 26: 10 Scriptures for Peace.)

I have learned to pursue the path of peace, meaning to keep my emotions under control and not react in anger or fear.

I have learned that Christ died to give us peace, meaning it is something we already have we simply need to learn how to walk in peace in our daily lives.

I have learned I cannot control other people, but I certainly can control my reaction to other people.

I have learned that there is a time and season for every single thing upon the earth and I won’t be in this place forever. I believe if you’re in the valley, you learn the most there and when you get back up, you’ll be stronger than ever before. That doesn’t mean it’s easy, but it does mean there is hope.

I’ve learned a lot, I have also seen God move in a way I had never seen before, miraculous in my opinion. Great things are coming, both for you and for me. I have learned a lot throughout this series and I hope it has blessed you as well. I can tell you one thing, I will never see things the same again.

PS. Come back for tomorrow, I am going to share with you what God has done during the last few weeks in my own life. Yep, crying already…

I absolutely believe that we learn the most during the lowest times of our lives!! If we can find something positive out of a terrible situation, then no matter what has happened, we triumph and come out victorious! I believe God designed us for this – so we can continue to grow and learn and every day be better and more than we were yesterday.
