*Disclaimer: This is an honest post today, there is no perfection here, just another human being dealing with the struggles of this world.*
I had a moment this morning, that moment when I thought, “Lord, can you just give me a break? Just one? I’m tired of the struggle, I’m tired of the fight and the constant standing strong for peace while arrows are being shot at me left and right.”
That was my morning.
Singing, tears, prayer and more tears.
I know that no one said this would be easy, I know that committing to live a life for Christ and walking in peace wages war on the enemy. My head knows that, but this morning my heart hurts nonetheless.
Even so, I refuse to sink. I can feel the storm raging around me. I will not watch the waves although I can feel the wind and the water. Through tears and though it might be difficult, I am making a commitment to keep my eyes focused on Jesus.
I am out of the boat and I ain’t gonna sink today.

Posted at 20:11h, 18 FebruaryYou are correct, you are not going to sink; Many are standing in the gap with you and your family. There are many prayer warriors praying over you and your family. Keep your armor on, we are all in the battle with you. God is using you to minister to so many hurting people. Thank you for your walk of faith. God has you covered and all will be revealed in HIS timing. We just need to sit back and watch Him work. The enemy wants to stop you but he can’t have you. You are a child of the King!

Posted at 23:12h, 18 FebruaryWell, now, I could just say “Ditto and Amen to what Jennifer Bowman posted” and that might be enough. But I want to also tell you Sarah that I appreciate your vulnerability in sharing. You are giving, constantly, and in so doing you are opening yourself up for others to give back to you. Some will give back in prayer, others in encouragement and others will be listening to you or to the Lord in order to hear what those specific needs you have are that rattle about in your brain and you have to say “Peace, I choose to love today” to quiet them. You are not going to sink. Nope. Not today and not any day. Why? Because you do wake up and talk to the Lord. Just keep talking to Him everyday and renewing your choice to please Him and walk in His love. He does have your back, and in perfect timing…maybe hindsight…you will see just how much He is right now at work doing for you and on your behalf. May you be buoyant in Joy today and keep on persevering in love! xoxo
